Tiramisù is a famous Italian dessert, made up of layers of chocolate, coffee, cookies and mascarpone cream. Its name, which means "pull me up" in Italian, has a disputed origin between regions such as Veneto, Friulli-Venezia Giulia and Tuscany. One version suggests its creation in the 16th century in Siena, in honor of Cosimo III de Medici. Furthermore, there is the belief that Tiramisù may have aphrodisiac properties.
